July 2025

Dear Pastors, family, and friends,

The year of 2025 is already halfway passed *or gone*. Our mighty God and loving Father is STILL good to us, you may say, All the time, Amen. We have had some challenges in the last few weeks but we are glad that our Lord is still on the throne, reigning in the middle of an imperfect world.

Counseling singles or married couples has been easier when they know who God is and what He can do in the midst of our trials. Romans 15:4 “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”

God is continuing to bring more deaf for us to meet that we have not met before. Some of you may remember a deaf couple by the name of Wilson and Genilma, for whom we have asked you to pray for their salvation. They invited us to a birthday party of Genilma’s deaf son Micael. When we arrived at the party, we were surprised by how many deaf people were there, many of whom were not saved, and God gave us the opportunity to meet every single one of them. We were able to get some contacts for future visits, and I had the opportunity to pray for Micael and his salvation as well. Some of our church members were present there, and it was a blessing to show them how Christians are to be a light to those that are lost in darkness. Please continue to pray for Wilson and Genilma and her son Micael for their salvation and that the Lord will show them their need for the Savior through His Word. Renato, one of my disciples, was present at the party, and many of his drinking buddies were there, and they were amazed at how his life has changed. He was able to share the gospel with them, and he continues to do so on his own. I want to ask you to pray for Renato and his wife Marcela. They are separated because of the life that Renato lived before he was saved. We have been talking and counseling with them both to try to get them back together. Only the power of God and our prayers can intercede in their situation.

Praise the Lord for the opportunity He has given Ruth to minister to a group of children in another church that is in the early stages of its church plant. We are thankful that God has used Samuel, a teenager, one of Ruth’s early sign language students, to interpret in sign language and to voice interpret for Ruth when she was teaching. Continue to pray for the Lord to work in Samuel’s life and that the Lord will show him that “the harvest is plenteous and the laborers are few.”

Ministry is not always about programs and events but time with your disciples one on one or your disciples shadowing you in the midst of real life events. The past few months have been spent building relationships with our disciples, getting to know their hearts, speaking truth to them, and helping them apply those truths to their lives, and helping them with what scriptures to share when they witness to their friends and families.

With every word we write and every letter we send, we thank the Lord for you all always. Let us be reminded of this verse: 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

May God bless you richly,

Michael, Ruth, Giovanna and Roniya Douglas
