Dear Pastors, family, and friends,

Hello! Hope all is well with you. We are still serving our King in Brazil. We have seen tremendous blessings and God’s wonderful works.

Here are some praises and prayers about the ministries here in Brazil. The trip in November was very blessed! Praise the Lord for all His goodness. I shared the gospel with a deaf 13-year-old boy in Sao Paulo when I went to a deaf church for their 30th anniversary. He had heard the gospel before but was not ready. Around Christmastime, he was witnessed again and believed in Jesus Christ as his Savior. The sowing was successfully reaped, and the angels in Heaven sang for one to come to repentance. Praise the Lord!

We had a good number of deaf people attend the New Year's Eve service, a very special service where we chose to pray at the altar as we entered the new year. We had about 20 visitors; four of them are professors, and two deaf are PhD and teach at the university here in our city, Goiânia. We were invited to visit the university. What an exciting opportunity it will be. Pray for us to continue to stand for what is right and be a light in the darkness so that people can see the hope in Christ our Savior!

The year of 2024 is at an end, and I see how God’s faithfulness has brought us through the year. We want to thank all pastors and church families for continuing in the vision and for investing in the church families with the support sent for 2024. We appreciate you keeping your vision and faith in the Lord by giving so God may grow fruit through our labors in Christ Jesus. We believe that our attending the week-long intensive spiritual class for deaf couples impacts our lives in a HUGE way, more than we ever know and see! The first one was in 2023, the second one was last September, and the third and last will be in March 2025.The classes encourage, strengthen, and equip us, and invest in our lives spiritually. Please pray for Ruth and me as we will be attending this one-week Spiritual Life and Growth class for Deaf Couples for the third and last time. As missionaries, our spiritual growth is of utmost importance to our ministries. We desire to grow closer to our Lord Jesus Christ and have the power of the Holy Spirit upon our lives and ministries. We really need the personal training, teaching, example, and encouragement that will be provided for us in American Sign Language. Please be in prayer for the Lord to provide the financing for this week of discipleship. The trip is very costly traveling from Brazil, because we will be bringing our daughters with us for this short trip. We praise the Lord that we are able to purchase the flight tickets, though we will need to be able to pay it off before the trip in March. We need this, but as Deaf missionaries, we have few opportunities for this level of spiritual investment, especially given directly in ASL. We are excited for this further training. • - Wisdom for the challenges we face to raise our girls in Brazil.
• - Girls will start school this week after 6 weeks of summer vacation.
• - Ruth teaching sign language classes again to Bible institute students; strength and wisdom to continue; the students to
• understand and embrace sign language; more laborers for the deaf.
• - Wisdom as I continue to teach and train 2 deaf men to be equipped in the church.
• - Deaf that need to be saved: Marcela, Kyara, Wilson, Micael, Genilma, Isabela, Erika, Arthur.
• - The deaf church in Sao Paulo still needs a pastor.
